Online abuse is unfortunately common today.
If you’ve witnessed online abuse but had no clue how to intervene, consider attending one-hour anti-abuse trainings by non-profit advocacy orgs. Right To Be - formerly Hollaback and PEN America. Their program emphasizes recognition of #onlineabuse and sharing effective strategies for intervening to help the person being targeted. Right to Be has scheduled an upcoming training on June 16 at 2:00pm-3:00pm.
